We are a Great Commission (Matthew 28, vv.19-20), evangelical Church who follows Jesus, The Nazarene, in the tradition of John Wesley. As a local, regional, and global community of faith, we are a sent people commissioned to take the Good News of life in Jesus Christ to people everywhere and spread the message of Christ-likeness and transformation across the lands. While our primary motive is to glorify God, we are actively called to participate in His mission. Our belief here at Bridgeway Church is that we are better together in fulfiling it as we partner, serve, and work alongside each other.

Our Passion 

Leading people into a growing relationship with Christ, every day and in every situation

We have made a commitment to do what is necessary to reach unchurched and dechurched people and to further cultivate those who have already made Jesus the Lord of their life: it is a devotion to all people who God has placed in our reach. Our goal is to help establish and solidify a relationship with God Himself; to help everyone begin that connection with God; and to become a part of Christ's body, The Church. We openly invite and welcome people who are in need, face challenges, ask questions, and seek a place to belong.
 
 
The 4 C's of Bridgeway
Celebration: We believe that to have a biblical, effective community we must commit to a time of weekly celebration and corporate presence with our Lord and for His glory. During Sunday Worship you will experience authentic praise and prayer, receive Biblical instruction/teaching on the essential truths that have practical application, and be presented opportunities to serve and witness to others. We are a church that is fluid; adjusting our methods to more effectively be the Church to this community, region, and world as God directs us.

Community: We are a church that cherishes authentic community. We provide community groups (The Colonies) in order to foster genuine relationships. Community groups play an imperative role in the care and development of a believer. We are a church that is constantly growing, knowing that no one has fully arrived in our spiritual journey. Rather, we are here to spur one another on in our spiritual transformation and growth.

Call: We are a church that sees the potential in people and helps facilitate discovering God's design for their life and for the furtherance of God's Kingdom. We believe that God's plan was for all to come to salvation and maturity, and for every believer to participate in serving and building the Church. We are an empowered community that is compassionate with needs and who actively looks for ways/means to serve others however we can. Our mission is to "go into the whole world..."  and with God's lead, we do and we will.

Christ-Centered: The call of God has been the same since the beginning of time.  We are called to surrender our lives and center them around Jesus Christ, our Lord. We strongly urge people to participate in Celebration, Community, and Call. While these three activities are biblical and commendable, they all should be viewed and carried out through the perspective of Christ-centeredness. The mission of our church is to lead people into a growing relationship with Christ. We strongly encourage, teach, and promote living the Spirit-filled life as our response to this growing relationship.
